National day for truth and
reconciliation
Toronto’s East End marked the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation with a community ceremony at Kempton Howard Park.
Organized by the Blake Street Junior Public School Parent Council and local First Nations Knowledge Keepers, the gathering brought together community members around ceremony, remembrance, and reflection on the legacy of residential schools and colonialism.
