The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation Ride
The PMCF is Canada’s largest athletic fundraiser, a cycling event that brings together cyclists and volunteers in a collective effort to support cancer research. It unites a committed community around the values of solidarity and pushing one’s limits, transforming every kilometer ridden into tangible support for this vital cause.
On June 13 in Hamilton, I was at the finish line to capture the excitement of the first stage of this two-day, more than 200 km route between Toronto and Niagara. More than 4,800 cyclists took part in this 19th edition. It marked a historic milestone with a spectacular fundraising total of $23.3 million, a third consecutive record for the event.
